Cleeve Meadow school

About the school

Cleeve Meadow School is a new special free school which will provide highly specialised education for 120 students between 11 and 19 years of age, who have moderate learning difficulties and may have associated additional needs. These may include; speech, language and communication difficulties, autism, sensory impairments and physical disabilities.

The school is particularly distinctive from existing local provision as it works in dual partnership with its co-located mainstream school, Cleeve Park, wherever possible to maximise inclusivity of SEN students to mainstream education and providing access to mainstream teaching and shared facilities.

Cleeve Meadow School delivers an innovative and challenging curriculum within a small class setting of up to 11 students through a creative arts-based specialism.

Cleeve Meadow School fosters a culture that is positive, collaborative and which values and respects every member of its community equally. Building positive relationships with parents and encouraging their full involvement in their child’s education is paramount to the School’s values. Cleeve Meadow aims to ensure that the students have the maximum opportunity to participate fully in society to enhance their life chances. The support and guidance students receive from staff will give them the confidence to learn independently.  The school aims to be a centre of excellence for its students, parents/carers, staff, local authorities and the wider community.
