The traffic management phases are -

Phase 1 Frognal Avenue – We’ll be working on Frognal Avenue under a lane closure. temporary 2-way traffic lights will be used to maintain the flow of traffic. Bus stops will be suspended.

Phase 2 Chislehurst Road, Southbound – Working on Chislehurst Road, southbound carriageway. A lane closure will be in place with one running lane in operation. Bus stops on Frognal Avenue & Chislehurst Road will be suspended.

Phase 3 Chislehurst Road, Southbound – the same as phase 2, however the lane closure and running lane will switch. Bus stops on Frognal Avenue reopen.

Phase 4 – Chislehurst Road, Northbound - This phase will be a northbound road closure from Frognal Corner Roundabout to Upperton Road. Southbound carriageway will remain open. A diversion route will be signposted.

I will share more detail with regards to traffic management plan and diversion route when available. Please note, this phase is currently scheduled to begin in February 2026.

Please ensure students using this route to school allow additional journey time for this disruption.
