Trust Vision and Ethos

TKAT is one of the largest Multi-Academy Trusts in the south of England with 44 Academies in the TKAT family. There are 30 primary schools and 14 secondary schools. In addition to being one of the most improved MATs in the country it is also one of the top performing. One of its key objectives is for all TKAT schools to be Good or Outstanding.

TKAT is regarded as a successful, aspirational organisation; student numbers are rising and teacher recruitment and retention is strong.  Recruitment of headteachers/leaders is also strong, it does not experience difficulties in recruiting to senior leadership posts across the Trust, more over it is being approached by outstanding school leaders who want to work for TKAT.

The Trust is now moving towards its next stage of development with the implementation of a growth model that will see a measured rate of growth over a three to five year period, where the conversion of schools in challenging circumstances is proportional to the number of Good or Outstanding schools joining the Trust.

Cleeve Meadow School aspires to become a centre of excellence extending its work with other mainstream schools within the TKAT group, offering training and outreach programmes to support inclusion and the success of students within LB Bexley and across the Trust.
